london Christine Ellis began her career in fashion with Jil Sander in Germany where she initially covered all wholesale aspects of the Asian and US markets as well as coordinating sales events. She was instrumental in the creation and launch of the brand´s Italian headquarters, where she directed the show-room and offices, coordinated worldwide sales and managed South European wholesale accounts. Up until 2009, Christine represented luxury store groups Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Holt Renfrew and Neiman Marcus Direct in Italy as the Director of their buying office AGA, overseeing a staff of 24. Not only a reference point for all aspects of their market research and assisting their purchases in all divisions, Christine also represented the stores at events hosted by Milan's Chamber of Fashion and the Dutch Fashion Foundation. Through the formation of Christine Ellis Associates Srl, Christine has leveraged her extended knowledge and expertise in emerging markets, incorporating not only her eye for new talents but also continuing to help emerging and established designers and retailers in the luxury arena, offering a 360° service to all sides of the fashion markets.
